Outline of Work Tasked
Abell & Cleland requested Pristine SCS to clean the windows of their 12 storey twin residential blocks in John Islip Street, Westminster. To clean the windows of this property required a hybrid scheme of rope access for the high level windows and the (heated) water fed pole system to clean recessed ground and 1st floor windows.
With the health & safety of the residents and members of the public a major concern for the client, a detailed risk assessment & method statement along with a full elevation by elevation proposal and programme of works was submitted prior to works beginning on site.
How we overcame health & safety concerns
As well as our work being supervised by a certified IRATA level 3 rope access technician, during the works our area manager attended site to complete an on site health & safety audit of our operatives to ensure that the RAMS are being adhered to. This report was submitted to the client to demonstrate the site is compliant with HSE requirements.
When we asked the facilities manager for Abell & Cleland how he felt Pristine SCS handled their health & safety responsibilities in a video testimonial he replied “I found Pristine SCS to be very innovative compared to other companies that I have used. Addressed any concerns I had as a facilities manager, talked me through the process and was very detailed and clear – So, to a very high standard I would say.”
If you want to achieve the same standards and results for your property or business, feel free to contact us to talk about your requirements. We will prepare a proposal and programme to suit your specific needs.
